New Acropolis Museum in Athens

The New Acropolis Museum, a new contemporary design museum, built of glass,
stainless steel and cement has been constructed to exhibit the unique finds of the
Acropolis of Athens and has opened its doors on the 21st of June 2009.
Within walking distance from the historic monuments, the Museum is situated at the
beginning of the 4 km pedestrian walk of archaeological Athens and just above the
Acropolis Station of the Athens Metro.
